Equipment

  • Espresso Machine (Can also use a Nespresso machine)
  • Saucepan
  • Shaker
  • Serving Glass

Ingredients

  • Roasted espresso powder
  • 5-6 Ice cubes
  • 2% milk
  • Sugar
  • Water

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, add 1 cup of water and 1 ½ cup of sugar. Allow it to simmer!
  • Your syrup will be ready when the syrup shortens to a viscous mixture.
  • Pull a double shot of espresso using the Nespresso or espresso machine. Allow it to cool!
  • In a shaker, add the sugar syrup, espresso, and ice cubes. Give it a thorough shake.
  • In your serving glass, add ice cubes. Using a strainer, pour the shaken espresso into the glass.
  • Add 2% milk to the glass and watch the layers blend.
  • Give the drink a good stir before sipping and don’t forget to enjoy.

Notes

  • You can also pull an espresso shot with a Moka pot or a French Press.
